RISSafety is a national height safety specialist with more than 60 years of experience delivering solutions to protect workers and support business compliance across Australia.
A comprehensive height safety solution
Our team of designers, installers, project managers and auditors ensure consistent technical standards, reporting frameworks and compliance processes across multi-site portfolios.
We’ve delivered a myriad of systems and safety solutions for commercial and industrial buildings, government buildings, utility sites, large-scale retail and property.
To protect workers in high-risk environments, such as those working at heights, the Australian Government has legislated mandatory workplace health and safety requirements.
Further to these regulations are Codes of Practice, or Compliance Codes, which serve as a practical guide to achieving and maintaining standards of safety and welfare. These Codes are developed with industry bodies to most appropriately reflect the current industry best working practices.
With these guidelines in mind, there is still no one-size-fits-all approach to height safety. This is why our team are dedicated to supporting site and facility managers, and PCBUs at every stage of the workplace safety process, including:
- Site compliance audits and risk assessments
- Application of the hierarchy of control
- Engineering design and specification
- Compliant supply and installation
- Periodic inspection, testing and recertification
- Rectification, upgrades and lifecycle planning
Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. Our team engages directly with project stakeholders to ensure design intent is clear, documentation is comprehensive, and that final installation meets the exact site-specific conditions. This process minimises disruption and offers complete transparency to asset owners and contractors alike.
An integrated approach also ensures that risk is addressed systematically, and solutions are designed and maintained well so that workers can operate at heights safely.
Committed to raising the bar
As a member of the Working at Height Association (WAHA), we align our approach with industry best practice and contribute to the broader objective of lifting standards across the sector.
We operate with respect to both innovation and agility, keeping aware of changing industry standards and state legislation to deliver the right solutions for our clients, and always to the
highest standard.
It’s evident that height-related workplace injuries and fatalities remain a critical safety challenge. We are committed to working collaboratively with WAHA and operating within a framework of recognised industry leadership and accountability.
