Vertical Horizonz Australia (VHA) has been delivering Health and Workplace Safety training throughout Australia for over 20 years. From the humble beginnings operating in the high-risk areas of working at heights and confined spaces VHA transitioned across high-risk work industries such as the civil construction, transportation, and energy industries.
We believe ensuring everyone who goes to work is trained to apply their trade safely and competently. Our ethos draws upon the best practices of adult education and workplace safety training, where people are not just trained to pass a test but trained to operate in their work environment.
As a training provider we exist to deliver industry specific workplace training. Our passion is providing real training that saves lives, not only at a practical level but also a personal level. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) VHA underpin and assess our training with nationally recognised qualifications ensuring the approved Australian quality standards are met.
Our business headquarters is based in Brisbane Queensland, and we have access to training rooms across Australia. Although, our experience has shown us, it’s often better suited to your business and staff when we come to you.
Our team is dedicated to supporting your training needs, from our industry relevant trainers to our dedicated client liaisons and post training team. Our Business manager James Moohan has over 30 years’ experience in leadership, business and training roles and is aptly supported by Dave Maiden, Operations Manager; an adult education professional with over two decades in the Health and Workplace safety training environment.

We currently offer over 30 units of competency and 8 certificates for relevant industry-based requirements. Training can be delivered 24/7 at your place or ours. Specific courses assessed by ASQA Standards can be constructed to meet YOUR needs.
If the ASQA unit of competencies do not exist, we can design course assessments specifically for you. We can access funding on your behalf given certain eligibility criteria.
Our comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) is at the core of everything we do. We do not compromise on quality. We have high standards, will lead with integrity, and will walk away from business if a customer asks us to cut corners with training delivery.
Our Trainers and Assessors have proven industry credibility, ‘they know what they’re talking about’.
We ensure our Trainers and Assessors have the correct qualifications to train and assess.
We ensure compliance under the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 and National Vocational Education and Training Regulator ACT 2011.
We have an 1800 number and online booking for easy access to training. Our friendly staff can assist you on any training related matter or will put you in contact with someone who can.
